We are delighted to welcome everyone to Beath High School for the 2023/2024 session. We look forward to working with you all throughout the year to improve the school, and to ensure everyone feels listened to and included within Beath.

Our goals for the year ahead are to encourage positive relations between the junior and senior school alongside the teaching staff within the school. This is one of our priorities: we want to make sure that people are gaining the most from their learning experiences as this will help transform the school into an enjoyable place for all involved.
We are also prioritising the organisation of the school and assisting the staff to create a safe and well-functioning learning environment. This will increase the individual feeling of belonging amongst the pupils in the school and encourage more successful learning within the school.

We will encourage pupils to use their student voice and communicate their ideas with us and the staff within the school to ensure each pupil gets their say. This is a desire that we share with many of the teachers, and we hope that by the end of this session there will be a significant increase of ideas and suggestions from our peers which will help us develop Beath into a place where everyone can have a high degree of enjoyment and feel comfortable and safe in doing so.

We look forward to the challenges that await us with these new responsibilities and feel beyond proud to be such prominent figures in not only the school but also in the wider Beath community.
